Owens Blasts Jones' Leadership, Draws Trump Comparison on Podcast

Terrell Owens criticized Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones after the team opened its season with a loss to the New York Giants, accusing him of prioritizing revenue and headlines over winning a Super Bowl. Jones bought the Cowboys for $140 million in February 1989. Dallas has not returned to the Super Bowl since its mid-1990s run, though the club remains the NFL's most valuable franchise, with estimates from Sportico and Forbes placing its worth between roughly $15.5 billion and $17 billion.

Jones acknowledged disappointment with the Cowboys' season-opening loss but said he remains "optimistic" about the team's playoff and Super Bowl prospects going forward.
