Wembanyama leads Spurs to 103-82 win over Thunder, tying series
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-82 on Sunday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, evening the best-of-seven series at two wins apiece.
Victor Wembanyama scored a game-high 33 points on 11-of-22 shooting, added eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks. Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell and De’Aaron Fox each reached double figures in scoring while combining for 20 assists, and six Spurs bench players also scored.
The Thunder shot 6-of-33 from three-point range and committed 20 turnovers, which the Spurs converted into 25 points. San Antonio attempted 32 free throws to Oklahoma City’s 18, though both teams finished below 40 percent from the field.
Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday night at Paycor Center in Oklahoma City.
